Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Tell us about yourself and your crypto journey so far
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: So my name is Johnathan and I handle marketing and strategy at Tartarus.
Talking in brief about my journey, I have been in crypto since the beginning of the ICO/STO era back in 2017’s and since then it’s been a roller coaster ride.
I have worked creating marketing campaigns & strategies for various protocols and projects across the cryptosphere. Fascinated by the Fantom network, I am here now ready to take Tartarus to a new height

A — Johnathan from Tartarus: So I am part of Tartarus’ core team. We ideated the concept back in October-November 2021 and now we are quite ahead in our roadmap

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Let’s talk about the project now. What is Tartarus about in a few simple sentences?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: Tartarus is a decentralized fundraising platform for new innovative projects built on the Fantom blockchain.
With an aim of providing an easy and accessible platform to investors looking for early access to vetted projects in the Cryptosphere,
Tartarus is here to empower Fantom-based projects by raising liquidity in a fair and smart manner and also developing the right target communities for them. At Tartarus, we extend the capabilities of conventional venture capital to anyone through democratized allocations and fair launches.
Tartarus is developed by a team and advisors from tech and fintech backgrounds and is backed by a vast community and KOL network, providing all the tools and resources to the projects, ensuring a successful IDO launch.

A — Johnathan from Tartarus: Fantom’s approach to the DeFi landscape is fast, scalable, and innovative, with the main focus of solving the blockchain trilemma which is to provide a balance between speed, decentralization, and security.
Offering faster transactions and lower fees than its competitors — fantom has proved itself as a keen competitor in the blockchain platform industry and as more & more projects are being launched on the Fantom network, there is an extensive need for a robust infrastructure to accelerate their growth — hence Tartarus

But, for this, you need to generate an innovative impact with well-examined projects. What qualities do you take into account when choosing a project to launch?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: So that is where Tartarus shines in, we target projects which present novel utility in the Fantom Ecosystem.
Our team carefully verifies the projects which are not just an idea but have made considerable progress and can present in terms of a whitepaper, development team, code repositories, and are developing a test-net or main-net.
Focused on the initial development and legitimacy of the project’s team, Tartarus will launch quality projects that can actually be helpful for the growth of Investor Funds and Fantom Ecosystem

Tartarus Finance says it’s going to make the allocation process simple, fair, and smart by introducing a Tier System. Can you please explain to us how the tier system works? How many tiers will be available and what’s the maximum allocation for each tier?
Yes. So in regards to upcoming IDOs to be launched in Tartarus, we are going to make the allocation process simple, fair, and smart by introducing a Tier System. The tier system is being designed so that investors, big or small, can get the maximum benefit out of the IDOs of projects launched via Tartarus. More info coming soon — stay tuned

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What role will the token play in the Tartarus ecosystem?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: So, Tartarus tokens or $TART is a utility token and will have multiple uses, such as -
1. Providing allocations in the upcoming IDOs on Tartarus
2. Massive APYs and airdrops for long-term $TART HODLers
$TART will be launched on Fantom net. and will be developed further as a cross-chain token to raise capital and auctions on other blockchains. This will tap additional liquidity and users from other blockchains and then settled on Fantom.

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Did you raise funds so far? If so, how did you handle them? And are you planning to do any future raises?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: Yes. We have successfully completed our strategic investment round led by Black Edge Capital and Solidity Ventures.

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: How far along are you with your roadmap and what should we expect in the next weeks and months?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: Yeah sure. So our private strategic round is successfully completed. We have completed the development of the Tartarus IDO Dashboard, and now we are in the final phase of launching $TART IDO.
Alongside, we are also working on new IDO launches via our launchpad and also a Tier system to guarantee a fair and smart allocation for our investors.

Q — Telegram user suzuki: On the website, you mention “Provides a user-friendly gateway to promote even non-crypto natives”. What are the efforts/ways that the Tartarus core team is doing to attract more users, especially non-crypto to attract Tartarus and create a strong community?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: Simple UI. While developing Tartarus, we had the vision to bring not just crypto but even non-crypto native people to the launchpad ecosystem by providing a user-friendly experience. Tartarus UI has been developed to be simple, quick, and secure, to attract users from the nontech/crypto space. You can check it out here
Q — Telegram user Md Noyon22: Besides offering whitelisting on IDO, what else can you offer your investors? Could it be that they have DeFi products that help investors generate passive income?
A — Johnathan from Tartarus: So yes. besides introducing new innovative projects on the Tartarus launchpad for our investors — we will also have staking pools/yield programs to provide more benefit to $TART hodlers.
Our team is already working on it and once we launch our own IDO platform, those features will go LIVE very soon.
