Summary
Metastrike is a VR role-playing first-person shooter (FPS) metaverse inspired by successful titles like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Call of Duty. By combining the best of FPS with the power of blockchain technology, Metastrike offers a full-blown immersive high-octane, skill-based gaming experience with play-to-earn features that both new and veteran gamers will enjoy diving into.
A blockchain-based role-play shooting game with a collection of weapons for players to equip, upgrade level to complete the mission and earn NFT & tokens. Players can have a gun collection, build maps to fight and steal NFT from other players. Metastrike is a first-person shooter project that can be used as a basis to develop your own FPS project with any ideas. It includes many features essential for modern multiplayer FPS games, objects such as weapons, characters, projectiles, shells, explosions, game modes and much more
The Metastrike Marketplace will allow participants to buy, sell and trade their collected, crafted and upgraded in-game assets, providing them with further monetization opportunities.
$MTS will function as a governance token, allowing holders to participate in the Metastrike DAO. The token will also be used for in-game functions, participating in missions with chances of high-value rewards, major guild vs guild tournaments, purchasing metaverse assets, such as Land and NFT boxes, and staking.

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Please introduce yourself. What did you do before crypto and did you have any other previous venture in crypto?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: I used to be a Brand Marketing Manager with 6 years of experience in marketing in multinational companies such as Unilever, L’Oreal, tech companies with VC Corp & Vinagame (VNG). Now I’m Marketing Manager of Metastrike
I have started investing in crypto for a year. However, for working in the industry, Metastrike is my first project.
About Metastrike
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What is Metastrike about in a few simple sentences?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: Metastrike is a free-to-play multiplayer First Person Shooter (FPS) blockchain game where gamers can start playing at no cost while having options to advance and enhance their gameplay through in-game purchases
It was evolved from other FPS predecessors such as CS-GO and Call of Duty, while its maps, items, and guns are designed in a highly balanced form suitable for diverse players. Gamers can also trade items On-Chain, with a variety of guns and constantly updated.
In short, Metastrike is like Call of Duty meet Left 4 Dead and Counter-Strike in a high-octane play-to-earn and build-to-earn game
Q — From Telegram Conroy Clark: Nowadays, most of us do not have high-end devices, so from what I can see from your trailer, I need a high-end device to be able to play MetaStrike. Can you tell us about your minimum device requirements to experience and play MetaStrike?
A — M from Metastrike: So Metastrike is a triple AAA game produced by a well-known game studio that has experience working with Ubisoft on Hungry Dragon and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV, etc. Therefore, our gameplay is polished smoothly because of the use of UnrealEngine graphics technology and completely meets the needs of gamers with high graphics systems However, we have not forgotten about low cases, so all versions have fine-tuning mechanisms to suit weak systems, players can freely choose.

Q — Twitter user @HumbertoAnttoni: I am a player who is fond of classic shooter games and I would like to know if they will include features that allow the burning of tokens such as skins roulette and mystery boxes that allow players to stay entertained? What will be the most interesting extra features?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: Yes. In Metastrike, you can expect skins roulette & mystery boxes
And the fun part is that you can even upload your design, or craft the mystery boxes in Crafting Station from Splinters (NFT pieces that you are rewarded in-game)
Q — From Twitter user @chungngo13: Can I ask what the benefits of Metastrike’s NFT boxes will be and how to own them?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: In Metastrike, there are 3 categories of NFT Box:
- Weapon Box: Chance to gain weapon when open
- Accessory Box: Chance to gain accessory like Helmet/Armor/ Gloves/ Shoes when open
- Fashion Box: Chance to gain fashion items like glasses/ T-shirt/ pants…
And there are 4 levels of boxes including Uncom box/ Silver Box/ Gold Box/ Diamond Box
Corresponding to 4 levels of boxes are 4 levels of weapons. To own an NFT box, you can buy it in the Marketplace. There are a limited number of NFT Boxes sold by Metastrike (so we call the Genesis boxes)
Another way to have a box is crafting it from 800 Splinters (kind of NFT pieces you are rewarded when playing the game)
Q — From Telegram user Bryant Javier: I read that it will be “Free to play”, but is that really the only way to participate in the game? Or can we also buy characters so we can play and have more profits?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: We welcome all players to the game, no one has to pay the initial fee like other GameFi. They can still get rewards but not as much as those who spend money to buy NFT weapons.
Those paid for NFT weapons will gain more profits from doing quests or picking up rewards, but it depends on the rare statistic of your NFT items. And all of it will be decided by NFT mystery boxes with the same price at the moment. Right now, we have calculated the price of these boxes and soon we’ll announce it on our social channel as soon as everything is fulfilled. Please join our social community for the latest update.
Token
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What will be the utility of the token in the Metastrike ecosystem?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: Metastrike applies the dual token model
Metastrike in-game token is called $MTT
It is the main play-to-earn reward token so users can play as much as they want without worrying about gas fees
$MTT can be used to:
- Unlock new maps
- Participate in various game modes and special events
- Purchase regular consumables like ammunition, vests, media kit
- Upgrade weapons up to a certain level and rarity
- Swap to $MTS up to a certain amount (requires the user to hold an NFT before they can swap)
Anytime $MTT is used for anything, it will be burned forever, 10% will be pulled into the weekly prize pool to reward ranking gamers or used for competitions
$MTS is Metastrike’s governance token. And it has many use cases
-Used to advance maps (mission) with rare NFT drops
-Upgrade Weapons, Items to max levels
-Staking to receive weekly rewards in the form of $MTS, $MTT, NFT, or skins
-Major holders can participate in Guild Creation
-Used in Major Tournaments (Guild vs Guild) -Participate in DAO Governance -Purchase Map Metaverse, Boxes
-Paying a fee for crafting station
-The design room, fee for uploading the NFT design
Later on, $MTS Holder will vote to share those fees earn toward $MTS stakers

Q — From Telegram user Juan: You’ve said one of the use cases for $MTS it is upgrading weapons to max level, is this not going to be a problem for users who don’t own this token to upgrade weapons? And as consequence characterizing this game as a pay to win?
A — M from Metastrike: They can still get rewards but not as much as those who spend money to buy NFT weapons.

By that all mean nothing of MTS will affect the mechanism of the game, NFT weapon only help you to have more chance to earn more profit while playing the game

A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: X21, Exnetwork, OIG, GAINS… are helping in marketing in gaming communities for game guilds in many countries with which they are connected on the role of spreading the word for us on Twitter, Telegram.
Enjstarter, Good Games Guilds, Rainmaker Gaming… partnership with us and support a lot of ideas about the game community as well as the experience of making GameFi.
Funding
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Did you raise funds so far? If so, how did you handle them? And are you planning to do any future raises?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: Yes
GD10 ventures is a huge VC name, they are lead investors in our Seed Round and they also invested in some of the top-notch projects such as Star Atlas, Cryowar, etc. In addition, GD10 and Lavender (our advisors that help a lot with MKT) also recommend us for other big funds
We have raised funds for the project to run and grow a few years. the plan for future raises is not the focused topic atm. It might depend on our growth in the future
Competitive Advantage
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: There are a lot of crypto games on the market these days. What are your plans to attract gamers to your game?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: Our project is focused on attracting new people and enhancing the user experience, therefore, we welcome all players to the game by offering FREE-to-Play — no one has to pay the initial fee like other GameFi.
We’re attracting gamers to our game by featuring our highly invested gameplay, come along with partnerships with strong communities, partners, and influencers
Our Marketing strategy is focusing on 2 key pillars:
(1) Gain massive brand awareness of Metastrike, and
(2) Engage with the community with a focus on gameplay
Q — From Twitter user xperia: MetaStrike looks like a great game but I would like to know how will you get the attention of the Non-Crypto audience? What are your plans to make gamers play MetaStrike let’s say instead of Counter-Strike?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: We see Metastrike, with AAA game standard, as a massive step forward in the P2E industry, and will encourage FPS gamers all across the globe to jump into the world of P2E.
So we are partnering with many game guilds, networks, such as Good Games Guild, Rainmaker Games… with the ambition to bring the P2E and FPS culture to the next level. In the future, we will work with major influencers in the FPS games to raise awareness about Metastrike, focusing on its gameplay + earning opportunities. We will also organize Tournaments to get the community excited about Metastrike
Q — From Telegram user Jordan: Can you convince us why we should choose & play the MetaStrike game over other shooting games like Pubg & Counterstrike? Can you also share some of the Core Features that MetaStrike has that make it stand out from its competitors?
A — M from Metastrike: It is true that we were inspired by those games

Q — Ayeley from GAINS: How far along are you with your roadmap and what should we expect in the next weeks and months?
A — Thắng Đỗ from Metastrike: We have developed Metastrike for over a year and our Alpha version is released
In the next week, $MTS will IDO in 3 launchpads Roseon + Seedify + Paid Network by Ignition on Jan 11th & Jan 12th
Next week, we will also have a livestream session to showcase our Alpha version testing. After that, $MTS will be listed on CEXes/ DEXes. Announcements will be published soon. In Q1/2022, you can also expect our NFTs box sales & beta version released
