We asked him questions about the development of Bullieverse.

Introduction
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Please introduce yourself. What did you do before crypto and did you have any other previous venture in crypto?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: I started my career as an Engineer about 20 years ago. Pivoted it around in 2011 after a couple of business degrees from LSE and Oxford University. Founded and managed VC funds over the last decade, over 5000 ventures reviewed and invested in 20 of them. I sit on the board of a few of them. Over the last 6 years, I have also taken up blogging and podcasting. I am also a published author in Blockchain and Quantum computing, and my second book that was published last year was about crisis management strategies for venture founders. I lead growth at Bullieverse. Hope that helps, and look forward to our session today.
About Bullieverse
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What is the Bullieverse project about in a few simple sentences?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: At Bullieverse we are building an open world Metaverse on Unreal Engine where our community can create and play games to earn rewards and NFTs. We are a virtual marketplace for gamers and creators and offer utility to NFT communities. In the past eight months, we have grown our team to 27 members and community to 40k+ on Telegram and Twitter. We sold our first NFT collection and raised $2 Million back in August, and have recently closed a seed and private round too. Our first game, Bear hunt, is Premiering on Monday the 7th of Feb. Mainnet live after the Token Launch in Jan 2022, which will be one of the first “play to earn” 3D unreal engine games.
Q — Twitter user @BaitulShuvo: I could see that to access his metaverse we will need to buy land and an NFT avatar but are these really already available on the market? Or have they not been released to the market yet, not even in pre-sales mode?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: You don’t need to pay or own an NFT to experience Bullieverse. You can play games and be part of the Metaverse for free. This is like our Freemium model. However, if you want to earn by playing games, creating games, owning land, buying gaming assets, game portals, and performing any other type of transactions on the platform, you will need to first start with a BULL NFT.
Please note that, BULL NFT is the starting point for all future NFT minting processes within the Bullieverse. They are listed on Opensea.
Q — Twitter user @dead_evild: I noticed that we can rent COBI Bull NFTs in Bullieverse, can you tell us about this NFT rental system? How will the owner of COBI Bull NFT have access to Bullieverse games after renting his NFT?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: We are going to be launching our NFT renting process around about the same time as the Bear Hunt Public launch. This will allow our NFT holders to enjoy passive income. We are introducing a different approach to renting which will be a lot more seamless and simpler for both the owner of the NFT and the gamer. Watch this space as we make announcements around the approach in our discord group closer to the time. I am not able to give you too much information around the exact renting process at this stage primarily because it is exciting and quite a new and cool approach that nobody else, really NOBODY else is doing. Hence, it will be closer to the launch that we will make the announcement.
Q — Telegram user Antonio González: In the first quarter of 2023, Bullieverse will launch Snowcrash, its game creation engine. So, could you explain why you are launching this game creation engine? How does this tool enrich your ecosystem? What do developers need to be able to use this game creation engine?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: We have built our Bearhunt game on Unreal engine (it is software used to create games). But it is a complicated process and needs a lot of coding experience to create a game using Unreal Engine. We thankfully have that in the team. However, as we have more creators in the metaverse wanting to develop their own games, they cannot be expected to have those skills. Therefore, we are creating Snowcrash that will simplify the process of creating gaming templates, designs, and assets, and creators can drag and drop to build their games. The games once created can then go to a curation process that will ensure it is a good game to be launched and allow it in the metaverse. Hope that helps.
Q — Telegram user Amina Peter: The gaming experience of most metaverse platforms has often been restricted by real estate availability. Is Bullieverse going to be the same? If not, then how does Bullieverse removes such restriction on its platform?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: Great question and thanks for asking that as this is a key differentiation of Bullieverse. We have a concept called Game Portals that gamers can jump into and out of. While the Bulliever Island itself is only 3 mile long, these portals are placed in different parts of the island, and games will be hosted inside the portals. These portals do not have real estate restrictions — so it’s a seamless experience for gamers and creators.
Q — Telegram user Anastasia Vector: You are launching your Bull Run Game in “Bull Run”, what’s your plan to survive in the bear run?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: I don’t believe we are in a bull market yet :). However, we have already got the runway for 2 years through our funding round that just closed. We now need to focus on just product delivery and community building. Quite honestly, this is just a beginning for both Bullieverse and the Metaverse space, so if we execute well, Bull and Bear markets shouldn’t really be a major issue.
Q — Telegram user DORUTAY 🎖: You have a self-explanatory white paper, but can you explain whether the community will have an impact on the project? How important is the community to the Bullieverse to achieve its goals?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: We are a Web 3.0 firm, without the community we are nothing. We need a good community to spread the word at this stage of development, stay with us when the going gets tough, give us feedback on products and strategies, and most importantly start being part of the team. Our community manager was one of our NFT holders, who reached out to us to give us feedback and offer us a helping hand. He is now a full-time salaried employee, and could easily be the employee of the month as he is performing amazingly well. There is no limit to how the community can help us. I believe Web 3.0 is a space where the community builds solutions for the community.
Token
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: Can you talk us through the utility of the $BULL token in the Bullieverse ecosystem?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: The Bull token is our governance token. If a community member wants to be part of the DAO and wants to drive the direction of the firm in the long run, voting rights and oversight in general, Bull token is the way to go. This is the vehicle that will allow us to achieve our dreams of being a decentralized organization in a few years as the community matures and starts contributing. Funding
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: You mentioned completing the private round. How do you intend to handle the funds raised? Are you planning to do any future raises?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: As a venture team, we are always on the lookout for capital 😊 — however, the team has grown from 4 members to 27 members now. Through the funding, we have secured enough runway to take us into 2023 comfortably and deliver our roadmap. We are all heads-down building the product, and community at this point. Therefore, our focus will be to deliver the roadmap that we published in our whitepaper. And we need to do that alongside building a superstar community. That is the focus for the next 12 months and we are extremely bullish about that.
Competitive Advantage
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What makes Bullieverse stand out among the many play-to-earn games on the market?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: To start with, we are the first 3D game using Unreal Engine that has gone live in this space. However, there are broader and strategic differences. We are not a one-game pony — we are a gaming/metaverse marketplace that will support both gamers with an intention to play and earn, and enjoy the metaverse experience — but also, focuses on creators who want to earn by creating games and in-game assets. We also emphasize the gaming experience a lot more than our existing play-to-earn leaders do. We have published an article that describes all these in greater detail on our medium channel.
Business Development
Q — Ayeley from GAINS: What should we expect in the next weeks and months?
A — Arun from Bullieverse: We have quite a busy Q1 — Now that the funding rounds are largely done and the first product is nearly there, we are now largely focused on growth and community engagement. Q1 will be filled with IDOs, Promo events, PR with top-tier publications, and most importantly community competitions and give-aways. We have an airdrop campaign live now but are also working on a few for our NFT holders who have been very supportive through the last 6 months. We have a token launch later this month and the public launch of the Bear Hunt game in late Feb/early March.
We are also planning to launch our bear NFTs later this month (through our game) and will top it up with more NFT news on land sales and game portal sales through Q2. Through all this, our genesis Bull NFT holders will reap amazing benefits. We are extremely excited for them.
